Yup, slice it lengthwise on the side and slip it around the striker. Helps it shut easier.

Water in Cab still after lots of resealing

Get in the cab and have someone hose it down. Mine leaks and i suspect the door seals. I've heard the job is a PITA not that it makes the door harder to shut. You know the 1/2" pex trick?

We’d Love Your Input — Help Us Improve the Site!

I'm 94' and per some places the final year of millennialism. I made a fb account in 9th grade haha. Etiquette here is just be honest and you can sneak in stuff like chit every now and then! And don't give advice if you're not reasonably sure what you're saying is correct.

This is basically how every forum is laid out. More or less. Your local library should have someone there who could show you how to better navigate.

whats every body using.. looking for a new stereo head unit

A sound system is a must as much or more than AC for me. The point is to make it something you can cruise in, and not just haul stuff with. For me anyway. I want to use this truck as much as possible so the things i do to it need to support that end goal.

Again, you don't need to make any. Just have several designs for sale. They get made, packed, and shipped when they get bought.

    Keeping heat out of Th400

What rpms where ya when you pulled 5,000 pounds? And yes, dig into your rig and figure out your gearing and tire size. You can take those numbers to chat gpt or other calculators to calc rpm tow capacity etc. +1 an aux trans cooler is never a bad idea. My truck was set up to tow a 5th wheel...

    Seat brackets

That's my line of thinking as well. I called sloshtubz and damn if they didn't answer on the first ring. I asked if it would fit the front seats of a crew cab. He said it should, his friend has a crew and so he gave him a call about it. Should know more tomorrow. He is also in the process of...

Hello All, I'm curious who has experience with seat brackets that screw into the stock mounting holes. Im putting in buckets on my 84 c20 crew cab, so the front seats. So far, I've found the below options. My line of thinking is these brackets will make the install much easier and (more...
