Ya colors are better than black for reflection. Do one and let’s see it. Thats ALOT of work though to get the buildup, glass perfect, paint or gel. But we all like our own unique things. -

FWIW similar happened to a buddy couple years ago. Not stolen but he’d sold this late 60s K10 back in the day. Apparently it was never re-titled. He’ll, I got that going on now and not for too many tickets. I only carry comp on our SRT, which sucks (an slightly not legal but it’s my risk imo fuuk em), but my otherwise very good and good rates ins co literally wanted almost $5k a year for full coverage. fuel valve placement?
My 77 has aftermarket dual tank and aftermarket 1 wire valve. It’s located in the center of a crossmember near the front of the tanks. If you’re going OE valve, they’re kind of oddly mounted as shown above. 3 bolts iirc, once of which is hard to get to and may need the heat shield depending on...- Grit dog

And be a poor decision due to glare. Heck my new truck has a gloss black bezel around the infotainment screen. Mostly vertical but with a small lip at the top that is horizontal. And just that little bit will reflect like a mirror at the right trajectory to the sun. -

It is not normal and the 2 fixes were presented. I’ve seen this before. Huh? It’s a solid axle. And even if you could, by the time you got the bad one straight, the other side would have just as bad of camber in the opposite direction. Or am I missing something here?- Grit dog

K10 NEED LONGER WHEEL STUDS.
Depending on the rims, you can use extended shank lug nuts. Thats what I did on my 77C10 to get full thread engagement with alloy wheels. Hellofalot easier than replacing all the lugs.- Grit dog

Good call. In my experience a binding u joint will not cause the pronounced hopping like 4wd on dry pavement but but more of a minor see saw motion in the steering wheel. Dual tanks - was not expecting that
This is confusing as you say it has a switch so presumably factory dual tanks, but no filler for one tank (like no hole in the bed?). Couple things. First, a crossover is kind of inherently unsafe. If it’s gravity it means holes in the bottom of each tank. Ever notice you never see a gas tank... -

^I too could have been mistaken. Thought he said he got $30k and was stuck with the rest, meaning his insurance didn’t cover the difference. Assuming the truck is actually worth more than $30k. Has nothing to do with gap. He said the other party only paid half its value because that’s all the coverage they had. His collision coverage would pick up the rest, ( or most of it even if upside down a bit ) unless he didn’t have collision. What he said doesn’t make sense.- Grit dog
