    I prefer semi metallic. Might not last as long but they don't ruin your rotors as much. Im sure its arguable lol but That's my experience anyways.

    Could just drill a hole in one shock on each side and have dummies. Even if you get new ones you can paint the dummies to match whatever shocks you get. My friend did that to his truck for ride quality but wanted the look.

    Got pictures. Transmission cooler could be plugged up. But if it was that it would feel funny in other gears and shifting. Possibly a shot transmission. Pictures? How did the transmission feel when you first got it?

    I thought i didn't get one because they are hard to find. But Maybe instead I saw how much they were selling for and was like for $300 bucks ill make one lol. Only took like maybe 20 minutes to gather materials and build. I imagine The most crucial part would be the correct length.

    Probably the fan blower motor died,that was my problem recently anyway. Disconnect power and drive around to see if it goes away. Ive also had my fan switch start smoking too

    I had to make my own brackets for kickdown cable when i put the R4 in my 6.2 78. They did make them from factory but are hard to find. I can send pics of mine if you want. I just removed all those pieces recently from mine.

    Im not sure what the part number is but You can use a duramax oil filter on a big block chevy. Bigger and higher micron I guess. Been running one for years in the 454.

    Ive done this before. Once when welded up a rear end I cooked those bearings good! and I remember buying new bearings. I don't think you got yours as hot as I did but they still turned color. Hopefully someone else has an opinion like maybe Karen or someone.
