Radiator Support Bushings: Is this correct?

I'm not convinced you "Need" new core support mounts for the frame, if that's what you want to do I'm not judging. Just bolt the core support down with what you've got, the fenders and inner wheel wells should hold the core support wherever you adjust it. Like someone said earlier you will...

Painting the cab and firewall quesion

When I did my cab I painted with doors on and adjusted I did jambs, firewall, dash, and behind the seat in one session. I taped the cowl acrost where the rubber cowl seal attaches just to avoid a bunch of dry overspray on the cowl since its a difficult area to sand also to prevent a bunch of...

Tightening down front yoke nut stops NP205 from turning

Look at the witness marks on the yoke, you can see where the old seal lips used to ride, if the yoke is pushing into the seal farther than it used to that's definite evidence the seal needs to be driven farther into the case. But So long as the inner and outer seal lips will still ride on the...

    4" lift for 1977 k10

How much lift is currently on it, I would assume it has at least 4" already to be on 35's? You say blocks, does it only have lift blocks in the rear? IMHO, so long as nothing is broken, there are not lift blocks on the front or any other known issues, I would just run it with the existing...

    Cab bottom pics needed

Yeah, an epoxy primer topped with a 2K is a great choice. Depending on what color you may be able to find an all-in-one epoxy chassis paint to get it done in one step. Maybe someone from the salty north will chime in on a better option for up there.

No power at some locations in fuse block

There are two red wires on the bullhead in the engine bay that supply different circuits with 12v battery power in the truck. IIRC they are about 10 Ga wires. I cant remember the exact routing of them but i think they came off of the junction block on the firewall just to the left of the brake...

    Need advice on exhaust.

There’s a million ways to skin that cat, here’s my two cents… Manifolds 2.25” (2.5” max) tubing H or X pipe Turbo mufflers Exit behind the tire or rear of truck Flowmaster sells somewhat affordable dual exhaust builder kits that are 16 ga aluminized tubing with enough parts to build an entire...

350 Engine extreme backfiring please advice

I’m with @Ricko1966 and @Sad Sack, I’d go back to checking the ignition timing. You could be anywhere from a tooth off to 180 degrees out. Double check firing order and plug wire routing. What was the truck running like before working on the carb and distributor?

Jeep JK Conversion - Farm beater / Grocery getter

The 3.6L JK's are fairly reliable and were commonly sold with a 5 speed standard gearbox, if you find one you might consider driving it until it breaks instead of swapping right away. Motech in NV USA may have an interface for the BCM to EMC/PCM communication, they're one of the go to swap...

    NP241 TRANSFER CASE SUPPORT ROD

I think GM solved the issue with the LS platform because they don’t have them on the GMT800’s…. Full bell housings that bolt into cast oil pan at the bottom make the drivetrain more rigid I guess

Transfer Case shifter ROD vs Cable? What are people using to avoid unnecessary wear in transfer case?

I have a trick cable shifter for a 208 I’ll sell ya…. I bought it with the plan to mount it on a console but changed directions. It’s a JB Fabrication unit, seems most of the off road buggy guys run their shifters and linkages

Me neither… A bazillion SB’s survived 300+ thousand miles without any issues caused by the shift linkage.

Shifter help. Exhaust pipe in the way

It doesn't look like you need too much to make it work, can you get the "z" bar in? Mine's not an LS but, I just bought a "U" bend and cut it up to make 2 pieces that allowed me to aim the tubing where I needed it. I used a 1/16" gas welding rod that I bent to guess-tamate what angle I would...

Emergency brake cable routing goes straight into exhaust

My older "K" truck has a little different style of e brake cable routing but I'm guessing you may need to weld some bends in your tubing to route it out of the way from the cable and up tighter in the frame. Some other ideas: May be able to move the mufflers towards the front of the truck...
