    2000 camaro ss

PA is 15 years old for classic status but I was daily driving mine up to a few years ago so I didnt go for it. Gonna switch to classic tags later this month, already have classic insurance on it. 156k on mine. A little bit of piston slap but no biggy. Drivers seat outer bolster is worn too...

engine missing after new intake gasket install

I found a 10 mm ratcheting wrench in the bumper of a car I was working on once. I said a prayer and lit a candle thanking the wrench gods for the bounty laid upon me.

Alright, so hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong but in 1995 trucks used 4L60Es so you will almost certainly have to use a custom chip burned or some sort of VSS solution (maybe be able to delete it all together in your application). If you're going custom I would suggest contacting...

Off the top of the head I would say you need to keep the following circuits: Coolant temp sensor Fuel pump relay Electronic spark control O2 sensors EGR (unless you are going custom tune to remove it) MAP VSS TPS IAT You'll also need a proper fuel pump for the TBI What are you doing for the...

engine missing after new intake gasket install

It sounds like something dropped in that cylinder. I'm going to second getting a borescope from Amazon or someplace where maybe you can return it if you dont have a need to keep it. Also pull the valve cover as mentioned and examine the valvetrain over the cylinder with the bent plug. Prepare...

    Missouri safety inspection no CATS

Yea I know, if my county would just give Bethlehem to Lehigh County we would probably have lower taxes, crime, and no emissions lol.

Sounds like someone needs to sell custom decals. Wink wink. Did your truck come with other emissions equipment? Was it originally sold in Cali? I thought cats were mandated by the fed gubmint back in 1975. Sorry for all the questions, I just hear of so many people complaining about cali smog...

    Car-Transport?

100% true A lot of suggestions here will cause all liability to fall on you if there is an incident, even if you purchase additional insurance from uhaul. I'll never go back to hauling my own cars unless its relatively close. Time saved, money well spent, and hassles saved with transport, at...

    Car-Transport?

Jeez, never knew uhaul pulled that age limit crap too. Whenever I rented a uhaul trailer I would put that the vehicle I was towing was a 1992 Mazda Miata to get around any weight restrictions.

    Car-Transport?

I've used Montway Carriers through uship on two seperate occasions. One from from Maryland to PA for my square and once from far west PA to my house in eastern PA. Both times cost under $500 and the driver that Montway used was on time and professional.

    K5 easy top removal

I'm thinking some rope, a come along or chain hoist, and a tree branch should do it. But I dont own a K5 and have never taken the top off one.

    Lt1 swap in 73 k10

350 or LS imo. The money you will spend getting that LT1 running right would be better spent elsewhere. Standard SBC to get you up and running and if you're set on a more modern efi engine then save up and go LS.

Damn, my 99 Trans Am used the same bulb lol. GM really stuck to that one huh? Its a 211 bulb as mentioned above.

Thats pretty cool because it changes with the times. In PA its 1974 or older. Now if you do a classic registration (at least 15 years old) you no longer need an emissions sticker (if you live in an emissions testing region). Antique registration (25 years or older) is exempt from emissions and...

Some of these inspectors have a God complex. Like if they let you slide for something minor you will be the cause of a massive pileup and it will be their fault. There is no chance that the shop can or will be held liable if a violation is found. The shop will deny any wrong doing and claim you...

    Threaded studs issue...

If there were an issue with aluminum rims then the OEMs would be in big trouble. Conical seat lug nuts installed in the proper sequence and torqued correctly on the aluminum wheels will give you no problem. Whenever I have a shop do work that involves them taking off my wheels, I bring it back...
