    Trailer tires

    F78-15 would be a ST205/75R15. A load range D would have a 2150lb rating per tire. It has a 27" height. If u have enough room the next size would be a ST225/75R15. It is 28.1" tall and is rated at 2830lbs in an E range.I use Carlisle Radial Trail HD Tires for my trailers.

    Mine is just 2wd. Easier swap. Used factory hydro clutch set up. Has a complete 4500 set up from a 95. Some guys like the 96 and later for the internal slave when running 4wd.

    You'll like the 4500. My Burb is a diesel with it. Drives great. Cruise at 65-70 no problem. Im getting 20 mph.

    Prices are always way out of reality at Carlisle! Been like that forever. You have to watch what u buy. Seen a few butcher jobs with nice shiny paint.

    Yeah I shocked at crazy prices people want for trucks. What I buy is usually the ones that can't be saved. I salvage all parts that I can and sell or keep them for myself. I see posted trucks for 5-10K that I wouldn't pay 2K for!

    I put a retro sound in my 89 Burb. It works great and everything including the wiring harness was correct.

    Anything more than 4" backspacing will hit the tie rod on a 15" wheel.

    37s on a half ton with a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears

    Previous Square I drove had 36" Swamper's and 4.10 gears. I had a stock 350 and TH350 trans. It was fine normal driving, but was a little sluggish on accel towing heavy.

    I have one in my Burb 9.5" 14-bolt. Put over 20k on it so far. Works great.

    I use an angle grinder with a .045" thick wheel. Quicker than a sawzall.

    Yes all CUCV use the same key for all locks. That's the first thing I changed on mine. As far as recoding the ignition I've never done one. They are serviced by a new precoded cylinder. The door locks can be recoded to whatever u want. Have had many recoded at the dealer I work at.

    I've always removed glass at the full bottom position. The are tricky. I stripped dozens of doors. They always come out easy, but going back in is a mess. Sometimes I unbolt the regulator to help. One trick I do to protect the glass from scratches is put a piece of thin cardboard over glass.

    I second the gear ratio. Any truck I had with 308 or 273 was a dog off the line. That was always the 1st improvement I would do. 3.42 or 373 are the best ratios for a 31" tire.

    Steering Stabilizer on a C10

    I have a stabilizer on my 3/4 2wd Burb. It does help dampen the feel of the road, but mine still wanders some. I am thinking about trying a better quality steering box. Maybe check that really good for play in your steering.

    Your welcome. Just make sure to get a new one. Reman pumps are junk. Mine was from BBB Industries.

    Sometimes the metal cups can stick. Maybe part of an mount is stuck on bottom of rad support
