Been pretty busy lately working on vehicles, got to keep our old junk running, lol. Changed the fuel pump out in the wife's Suburban, was causing some really weird issues which were all remedied with the change. Luckily I had cut a trap door on the inside 6 years ago when I had to replace it... -

Yep, Skip White Rocks in my book. Have talked with him numerous times during my BBC engine build a decade ago and he always gave me what seemed to me good advice even when I wasn't buying any of his stuff! Very pleasant man to deal with!:cheers: -

Cargo Lamp Not Working
Will be watching your progress on this as I am also trying to get my cargo lamp to work. So far have it completely removed and cleaning it up. It has never worked since I got the truck but it will soon hopefully. Will be breaking out the test light soon. :cheers:- Paladin

Hmmmm.... seems some folks don't like it when your opinion (which I believe you are still allowed to voice under the Constitution) about something doesn't coincide with theirs, or that their opinion is the only one that matters! What have you done to your square lately??
It's suppose to work but just depends how in depth they check shit out. I didn't even have to get out of vehicle when I got mine inspected. he just told me which light etc, etc, etc. he fiddled with his computer, checked insurance and handed me the slip and I handed him the 7.00 bucks... -

Yes sir, the little lady's "66" mustang which we got rid of as it had turned into a virtual money pit. Finally come across someone with more money than good sense that had to have it and they made an offer we couldn't turn down. Besides, it was a Furd!!! Didn't need any of the other vehicles... -

State inspection is once a year, $7.00 fee, required to register it yearly. 10-4 on the suburban, but was able to do all the work myself so saved a ton of bucks on it as we only had liability on it.:cheers: Good as new here $900.00 later.. just waiting on the Bowtie emblem! -

Monday took the truck for state inspection which it passed with an A+, rest of the week just piddled with repainting my Anti-Antifa grill guard and reinstalled it. The horizontal bars on grill guard go thru the 2 3/8" uprights so it is extra stout. I fabbed it up a few years ago after taking out... -

Finally got around to finishing up the aux. trans cooler install as I had to change it to the other side as the way I had run the lines they interfered with the turn signal lamp so after some afro-engineering it turned out perfect and everything fits and works fine! Rewired the headlights with... -
Whats you gas mileage on your squarebody truck?
Yeah, I'm kind of surprised it's still going. Seems kind of contradictory that so many want to modify V-8 engines whether small or big block, and then moan and groan because they don't get the same MPG as a moped. Hmmm...... I wonder if the fabulous aerodynamics ( same as a cinder block) might...- Paladin

Well after 3 trips to the hardware store (only 4 blocks from the house) I finished fabbing up the brackets to mount my tranny cooler and finally got it in. Don't have it hooked up yet, that's for tomorrow, it's time for a cold brew now! Planning on fabbing up some hard lines out of some extra... -

Installed the new to me grill surround trim, then reinstalled the headlight buckets, headlights, horns and snorkels after cleaning, primering, painting and polishing everything. Tomorrow I plan on installing my new Hayden heavy duty transmission oil cooler and the full Phantom grill. Front end... -

Been polishing on my old turd most of the day. Stripped the grill and headlights off to clean her up some. Unbelievable how dirty it was behind that Phantom grill. Lookin' all nice and spiffy now after scrubbing, cleaning, and painting her up, looks almost new! Will be installing new headlight... -

I too currently have the idle to main stumble and will soon be changing from the stock 30cc accelerator pump to a 50 cc in hopes of curing that. Already bought the kit for that and a complete rebuild , just have to quit driving it around long enough to do it. Hope it works out for you!:cheers: -
