What have you done to your square lately??

...Also, during install, I discovered that my palm sized flat head screw driver was perfect for removing the blade from the arm without removing the arm completely, or damaging the paint on the hood or cowl.

What have you done to your square lately??

Put new wiper blades on today. I got the correct size OE(proper needle fitting from Advance...they happen to be Rain Ex.) Slightly longer blades than what was on the truck when purchased. Now I need to get the drivers side tube from the arm re-attached to the wiper blade for windshield...

    No oil pressure

Sender(bell shaped) is the switch for an 70's -80's -ish guage. The other skinny one is for a light on the dash(likely 88 to 90-something).

Riding in to SLC. Early 20 aughts standard cab, swb. What a view. This is also what you see when you look out the window of the In and Out Burger we stopped at for lunch.

Bench seat with floor shifter..to console or not..

Ha, yeah! Mine is loaded and definitely comes in handy when I forget to switch over my E-Z pass and end up passing a toll booth.

Bench seat with floor shifter..to console or not..

Go for the classic easy style. I inherited this with my truck. Not sure if it was from the dealership or for sale afterwards, but I have seen them in quite a few 80's squares. It is convenient, easy to move, and weighs enough to not go anywhere unless you move it. Getting stuff from behind the...

    No oil pressure

Before all that, check and see if the oil pressure sending unit has just shaken loose. If it is still attached, possibly could be the oil pressure sending unit has run it's course. The oil pressure sender sends the signal directly to the non mechanical guage on the dash. They are not too...

    A little interior upgrades

Looking good so far! @Hamgrease Jonathan, what color and brand dye(paint) did you go with for the door cards, seat belt harness cover, etc.? My interior is red just like this and my door cards are in the most need of recoloring. I have researched a few brands, but this looks like what I hope I...

What have you done to your square lately??

After the truck went in for inspection I knew the breaks would need fixing. I found out a few other things that had to be remedied: -brakes, as mentioned; new pads fluid flush. Calipers look good to go. - brake line to front drivers was busted open exposing inner components, replaced. --front...

What have you done to your square lately??

After the help from my local shop getting inside the distributor cap and seemingly-so far getting the poor running figured out, I have: -Driven it home from the shop, it drove normal and I was hesitant to really drive it for this short trip. Then it rained for 2 days, HaHa! You can't make...

What have you done to your square lately??

It's been another minute for me posting due to the truck being OOC. I find that ignoring GMSB while frustrated with my truck maintenance is good for me. So when the ice melted away enough for normal driving I decided I would pick my kid up from swim practice in the truck as it is a short ride...

What have you done to your square lately??

Yeah when I had to get the back windshield replaced, insurance covered because of deductible, however, I did not get a sliding glass replacement. Insurance went with Safelight. I had to be the co-worker that the young guy doing the job needed with him but didn't have. I was happy to help since...

Took it out four wheelin in the snow/ice. I don't get to give the transfer case much love where we are in the burbs south of the city, so any opportunity is one I will take. Went all of about 15 to 17 mph. Lol.
