1976 Square drivers side A/C Duct

My '87 just has a small, snorkel shaped outlet, about 1"w x 1/2" h, that blows straight down under the column

1976 Square drivers side A/C Duct

If you can wait a few days, I'll try to grab it later in the week, should have it by weeks end. I'm guessing it won't be very expensive, but could be $40-$50 shipped. Lmk what you think...Bob

1976 Square drivers side A/C Duct

I believe they are the same through the '92 Squares. I can get my hands on one in the back of a 'Burb at a yard I frequent near me, if it's the duct work in the picture. It goes from main heater box behind ash tray, runs under steering column, attaches to lower column plate in the center, then...

    Tachometer replacement thoughts

Ah, I see. Yeah, I found a factory tach out of a C30 for my '64 C10 and had it calibrated for a V-8 for the 409 going in it. It's super-nice as I restored the needle and all. I haven't seen any C10's or 20's with a factory tach before, I like that rare stuff!

I did not see that tach w/inset fuel gauge on LMC's site, just their kit's with separate fuel gauge.

    Power window harness

I replaced my drivers door harness with the door on and it wasn't too bad. A rachet wrench is the way to go to get harness boot off. I just split the grommet at the kick panel so I wouldn't have to remove wires from the connectors under the dash.

    Window Felt Replacement

I measured & double checked mine again, there is definitely some type of cladding on there. They measure about 1/32nd different, and I can actually see it on the drivers side that it's slightly loose and I can see the metal behind it where it wraps around toward the window. I'm almost thinking...

1987 Chevrolet 350 tbi high idle

I don't think there is a sending unit made that doesn't seep oil out of it. My Subie BRAT has the same issue after replacing it with a new one several years back.

    Window Felt Replacement

I'm going to measure mine, but I'm pretty sure the drivers window that is black is wider than the rusty metal one on the passenger side. I could be wrong, but I've examined them pretty close and am sure there is a thin piece of cladding of some sort. It always seems like the passenger side is...

The chrome trim is available on Ebay for about 1/2 the price as the supply houses. Probably the EXACT same stuff...

    Window Felt Replacement

If you look closely, there is a thin metal cladding both inside & out over the top of the steel. I think it's actually aluminum, maybe plastic??? They are all mostly a bit rusty beneath this thin cladding, and without the cladding they are a bit thinner also.

    Window Felt Replacement

Yeah, I think every window is a bit different. I left mine outside the door frame a bit, just barely tucked into the channel, and when the window shut it pushed it up into the frame more, so I figured it would settle into place where the window tracked. I finally got my wing window seals locked...

    Window Felt Replacement

I could, but it's a bit of a different dimension without the cladding on it, it just looks skinny!

    Cruise Control Module location

I'm trying to find out exactly where the cruise module mounts on my '87??? I cannot find it in a Haynes manual, the factory wiring manual, nor on this site unless I just missed it.

I may be able to get you one at a local bone yard, I can check tomorrow as I'm headed there.

    Window Felt Replacement

I also had to change my drivers door motor after the new felts. I bought a pair off ebay for like $58 with a 5 year warranty. I haven't done the passenger door yet as I've been trying to locate a wing window that has the black metal cladding on the divider bar as mine is bare, rusted metal. I've...

    cheap-ish options for my 86

Blocking the exhaust cross over will probably hurt the performance. There is a science behind cross overs, 2 into 1 exhaust systems on almost every combustion engine made. That is why the engineers install them from the factory. A higher flowing muffler & tailpipe will be more advantageous to...

CLEAN 80s K10 in Seattle for sale

Back in '89 when I bought my SS, the GN's were essential the same price. I remember them being about $3,800-$4,200 all day long. I just didn't want a V-6 and thought the Monte's looked better. I wish I would have bought 3 Buicks now!

CLEAN 80s K10 in Seattle for sale

No car had the body lines of the Monte, that was my big attraction! In fact, I still want an '88 Aerocoupe, T-top, buckets car.
