    Faulty rigged

Dad's ole C20 Crew has a selector valve with one wire like the one in the pic. It appears that your truck has two installed for some odd reason.

Lift options and recommendations for a 1980 Jimmy

I just used a Rough Country 6" from a Sub that I bought last year. It rides pretty good so far. I've only made a few laps around on it but am satisfied so far. Tuff Country is another brand but I've seen much negative comments about either the TC or RC...or maybe both. 35's will clear nicely...

Differences in dash metal by radio cutout?

I never noticed that until looking at these couple of '91 parts Subs that I've picked up the last couple years. I didn't know about the electric cluster or power mirrors either until recently. I must have been too poor to mess with the new stuff... HS

81-83 vs 84-87 Cab Mount Question

I have not even looked at what I've purchased but I'm sure that they're the OE rubber replacements. I'm going to check the site again now but I can check my receipt when I get home this evening as well. HS

81-83 vs 84-87 Cab Mount Question

You may want to check the Holley/Brothers clearance site if you haven't bought your hardware yet. Looked like some good pricing that was on there for cab mount bushings and bolts. I bought a set for 73-80 and also 81-87 from there combined for $145. HS

    4x4 conversion

The ton frame is definitely different than a 1/2 or 3/4...unless it's a Crew. I too have a '79 dually that I'm going to convert. I was able to source all the components from a single cab K30 that I bought for parts. I cut the frame just behind the rear spring mount on the front so that I'd have...

    2000-2006 3rd row seats

I used the 3rd row bench from my '05 Sub & put into my brother's '37 Chevy pickup. It fit perfectly.

    Leaking fuel

That is supposed to be hooked to the charcoal canister I do believe. Maybe some fuel vapor but not liquid fuel exiting. HS

    Leaking fuel

The crankcase vent is supposed to be routed back to the air cleaner. No fuel is supposed to come from any of the vacuum ports on the carb either.

What have you done to your square lately??

I have the radiator mount bushings but only 3 cab lift pucks. When I removed the cab from the body-lifted k30, there was one rusty bolt that just would not release the puck. You're welcome to them if you'll send me a box. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Took the farm mule & got me some brakes again. Dear ole dad left me some "tropical blue" & I bombed the Spring Green/Frost fender. I evened up the cab as well with a urethane bushing & bearing too...

Edelbrock carbs on a 350 sm blk

I've had a 1411 (750 CFM) on my 396 Camaro for over 20 years now. It's been on the Outer Banks & up Mt Mitchell as well as several laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway. I'm more than satisfied with it. I also have a 1406 on my 76 Silverado. HS

What have you done to your square lately??

Those inserts (China) stink! I've not had great success with those holding. I've learned to use the factory adjuster along with 1/4-28 nuts & flat washers. It's a more permanent fix but unfortunately it can be difficult reaching some of the retaining nuts when adjusting.

    Electronic Shift NP203/NP205 Doubler

Welcome to the site & let me express how envious I am of what would also be my dream truck. As for the old cast iron cases, I'd leave them to be shifted manually. Newer aluminum cases get by with shift motors, but I'm not a fan due to lack of reliability. I'm old school & love twisting hubs &...
