    Radiator support, buckets, bezels, lights... I had an '80 Sierra that was round & was wishing it were a High Sierra or Grande with the rectangle lamps. I always liked that one year only upgrade. HS

    I just welded a hole similar in my 87 V10. Sparks flying through the dome light LOL! Thankfully there's no headliner in it. It has the windshield antenna but I've used a 91 Sub clip & it's fender mounted.

    There are fender & windshield antenna but I've never seen a cab mounted example. I've seen several aftermarket CB antenna holes though.

    I believe that the brakes are 13 x 3.5 & 1350 series joint for each rear. It may not be a terrible swap. HS

    Glow plugs half work

    Spray some WD-40 down that Detroit's throat...plenty of it. Give it a chaser of carb or brake cleaner as the GP's do their thing. It should fire up after a couple of these cycles. It's kinda like "one bourbon, one scotch & one beer" by George & the Destroyers!

    Lift options and recommendations for a 1980 Jimmy

    35's will clear the fenders with molding as long as you're not killing it with a 4". The current setup that I have is a RC 6" with rear 4" block & add-a-leaf & there's plenty of room with 35's. If you beat your truck, wheel it or trail it you'll go that route with a 6".

    Plugging along on the 87. I’ve swapped axles & springs from the donor 91 Sub. Trimmed out the front clip & wired the lamps & washer jug. Moved the rear shackle 4” to accommodate the 56” springs from the Sub. Used the hitch from it as well. Installed 4.56 gears and lockers on both ends and trying...
