Alternator issues....
I am having a very similar problem with my '82 C20 Camper Special. I wonder if it has something to do with the wiring of these units? Thanks for the post, though...definitely following!- Steve Goetz

Alternator for my '82 C20
What brand alternators are you all using in your rides? I'm needing to get a new one for my '82 C20. It has a 350 with A/C. Any suggestions? Also, how do I determine what size to get? The one that is in there is newer and I'm not sure if its the correct one. TIA.- Steve Goetz

So, I did try this and no light came on....but my tester is rather old and may need replaced. Going to pick up a new one today and retest. This would show some type of short in the system, correct?- Steve Goetz
