    Is it an auto or stick? If a stick, could it be the safety switch that makes you depress the clutch for it to start? Not sure what they look like, and what years they are on, my 86 doesn't have one.

    Looking at what I believe would be a good spare transmission for my 86 C3500. The nice clean pic is the one for sale. Mine is the filthy one. The numbers are the same, except the very last one on the top. I'm hoping the 465452 is the important one? Is there a difference between the two?

    Choke Light?

    I do have an oil pressure gauge, and it is running at normal pressure, so that shouldn't be the issue. I did recently replace the valve cover gaskets, maybe something is a little loose from doing that. I'll have to check the switch. Thanks for the info

    I rebuilt mine with parts from LMC. The only problem I had was one of them needed a new frame. The setting rubber they sell doesn't work. After trying for a long time, found a review that said to get it from Summit instead. Did just that and it was super easy. Every thing else worked great.

    Bought an '87 long bed on Bring a Trailer a few days ago

    It concerns me that the Carfax doesn't list mileage more often. Sure looks like it is accurate, but when it says "shown", who knows. Here in PA, the milage gets reported every time the registration is renewed.
