Done dun it
The carb should be easy to remove; it will give you more room to get at that broken piece and also reduce the chance of ruining something else in that area as you try to remove, repair and install.- mxer147

What have you done to your square lately??
IDK, a little too risky for me, I don’t believe there’s much in the way to remove it to repair properly or replace the oil pan, cheaper than another engine and the labor required to replace it. -

Yep, lots of surface area on these old squares, becomes overwhelming at times. I like that cab wrap trim but plan to use two sided tape since my truck doesn’t have the trim nubs. -
Putting a gas 350 in a 6.2 diesel frame, quick input please.
My 83 was originally a diesel now burning gas 5.7 liter. The wiring is different since the diesel is fuel injected; fuel delivery different. Suspension springs heavier duty. Two batteries for the diesel. The diesel fuel mileage is twice better and louder. Having two complete runners shouldn’t be...- mxer147

Sprayed the headliner with textile coating to get a closer match to the two tone seat covers. Also gonna use the same material on the door panel inserts. The water based paint is kinda thick even after reducing 25%, expensive too. Gonna leave it in the hot sun to lock it into the vinyl surface... -

Taking the path of least resistance so I did a little surgery to the existing turn signal housings to rough one in. Gonna need to add some material around the edges to anchor it, probably epoxy or bondo. What color should I paint the edges? Black, silver, chrome or white? -

No dome light but I am planning to add one as well. Not concerned about the dome light since I now have a headliner which I can use the cutout to locate the drill hole. What’s hiding behind the vertical panel between roof line and rear window. I’d be bummed if I created extra repairs if I drilled in the wrong spots. Any pics available of the factory installation holes? I’m installing a newer led light, not the factory original.
