    It was the black pink wire coming from the fuse box. I think that leads to the fuel gauge?

    Hello, I am having a problem with the gauge/idle Fuse. It keeps popping Everytime I got to start the truck. All other fuses are good. It's a 86 chevy K10. Any advice?

    Distributor not getting spark

    UPDATE: The K10 is up and running. Replaced distributor with a known working one and did plugs and wires, because some were melted from laying on the exhaust manifold. Thanks everyone for the help.

    The rotor does turn when I take the cap off and crank the engine. It has a HEI distributor.

    Replaced the pick up coil and still no start. I'm running out of ideas of what it could be.

    What would I need to do for a pick up coil replacement? Tested and retested the coil and icm today and everything is in good.

    I used a spark test light that doesn't light up at all when cranking the engine. I have verified 12v is going to the coil .

    I did know that there is a way to bypass the ESC. Kind of hesitant on cutting wires, because not fully sure where the problem lies.

    There is 12 volts going to the coil. Replaced coil first then ICM. Tested all connectors for continuity and they were fine. I haven't gotten around to testing pick up coil yet.
