1978 Suburban just came in to a local yard
that really sucks hopefully it will still be there and lost of stuff left on it so when ever you get a chance to go you can check it out and maybe help out some members if they need it -

never did a body lift on a blazer/jimmy only done on 2 different pickups a 94 extended cab long bed chevy and a 81 ford regular cab short bed sorry I can not answer your question- ma3600vz

here is a 6 inch for 900 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/rou-20530/make/chevrolet/model/k5-blazer/year/1977 I could be wrong but you may need a body lift as well to clear your tires with only a 6 inch suspension lift no if you had 35s you would be just fine might be able to get a way with 36s...- ma3600vz

yes I am a big fan of the 91-94 nv4500 I saw a post forget what number it is that said he could tear up his 465 and a 4l80e was recommended that is also a good option imho I do not know how much the 465 can take I think it could take it just fine but if some thing dose go wrong I think that the...- ma3600vz

there is a option to go old school with the 8.1 but it is just as expensive as the mall amount of aftermarket stuff for the efi system...- ma3600vz
