Nice ... I'm jealous ... congrats on the house and the project truck ... I spent 2 hrs driving to a parts yards 2 hrs going through it ... and 2 hrs driving home today lol ... I have a 78 gmc ... parts are hard to come by .. so get your cc out .. haha ... but seriously it's so much fun ...- John Salyards

Ive been watching videos all night . I found some great ones by IMC truck. Mines a 78 and the video is on 81-87 but the concept is the same and has been extremely helpful. I'm just barely...starting a slow restoration on my 78 gmc. Today I started with one of the most common problems. I have to slam the door to get it to shut. I pulled the handle off and removed the latch. I'm looking for a good diagram for reinstallation and perhaps a lead on replacement parts...- John Salyards
