Sniper fuel pump with existing EFI pumps

Ok. Here is the update. The tank switch problem was the switching valve. Replaced it and my tanks switch. The Holley pump is connected about 4” after the valve. I do not run the in tank stock pumps. I do get a consistent 61 psi at an inline gauge. I drove it on 2 hour trip and back and did not...

Sniper fuel pump with existing EFI pumps

It does look like it worked. We have it up and running. We drove it 4 times for the learning process. BUT...... I'm not ready to recommend this just yet. I could use some further guidance on this. when I used the stock TBI pump to the Sniper pump (connected after the fuel valve) the pressure...

Sniper fuel pump with existing EFI pumps

Thanks for the advise. I’m going to try feeding the new pump with the factory pumps. It that does not work. I’ll replace the factory pumps with Walbro 5CA400HP Direct-Fit Fuel Pump Kit 255 LPH GM In-Tank.

    Instrument Cluster and Parking lights

Update on this. Bextreme04 put me in the right direction. I disconnected the hot brown from the headlamp switch to the after market radio. It was attached to a ground anyway. That fixed the short. I needed to figure out the next issue. IC had no lights. To get the IC out. it was just easiest...

    Instrument Cluster and Parking lights

At the firewall, engine side, I see there is a plug for Front light harness and a plug for the rear light harness in that terminal block. Do you know how the brown wire is supposed to get there? If I disconnect where it is. I don’t know where to plug it in under the dash. On the IC lighting...

    Instrument Cluster and Parking lights

I've read informative info on other posts about IC and Parking lights. My truck is a 87 sierra Classic. I'm the original owner. So if its wrong. I did it. I currently have all my lights working except the parking and IC. Fuse was blown. Replace fuse. Fuse blew. OK we have a short. I took out...
