    Which carb to buy?

    tried 2 new 600 cfm edelbrocks with elec choke on my 69 350 Camaro. both flooded over spilling gas all over intake. took them back to Advance auto parts . got a Holley 600 cfm with elec choke. perfect. no more problems. highly recommend.

    Square frame questions

    Does anyone know if a square Stepside frame is the same as a fleet side short box frame? Also, if so, can you bolt a fleet side short box on a Stepside frame with or without alterations? Or what mods would have to be made? Thanks.

    I have a chance to buy this truck. It has 163 K miles. Runs great. New tires. Looks great. Red w/gray int. Chrome wheels. Tonneau cover. 2 owners. Never abused. I know both Owners personally. What would it be worth? Thanks.

    Front bump stops

    With a 1.5" drop spring, I don' think you should have to Trim bump stop. Drop spindles should not have a bearing On this.

    My experience as a retired toolmaker, is to only use adapters made from billet aluminum . DO NOT use cast aluminum. Safety is a big factor.     Painting inside of bed

    For my 87 short bed, I found a used 8 ft. rubber bed mat . Then I did all measurements from the wheel tubs and cut to fit. Came out great. Saves bottom of box.

    Drip rail woes

    As far as the mounting screw problem, I think Eskimo man 209 , has the right idea. If it was me, I'd paint the mounting section black like he did, but I would also paint screws black. The screws Would be less noticeable. Note! Black goes with any color.
