    350 TBI, Can't push gas pedal while idling

    Went out and started my 87 C30 after sitting for jsut over month while I was away. Truck fired right up like usual and idles fine. But my gas pedal is extremely hard to push and when it do move she jumps to really high idle and stays there's even after u let off the pedal. Turn off the truck...

    I've went back and double checked the u joints and drive shaft. All good. There is a little slop in the pinion and some play in and out on the output shaft. Tightened by u bolts as well. Still making making same noise. Reverse only, high,l or low rpm, clutch in or out

    Oof, mine is set close to the bottom one. But there's a wedge under my leafs. That set the angle when I installed new ones. But because I got a long one piece shaft it's not as steep an angle for the long shaft opposed to the shorter 2 piece shaft

    The centers are seated. I made sure of that when I installed new springs. Would the tip of the drive shaft cause a knock like that you think?

    My sender isn't attached to anything right now either because I can't seem to find what it attaches to, I've tried connecting it to ever loose end that's there and still nothing. Just stays pegged. What color wire does yours connect to?
