    Motorola Reverb

Typical wiring of a delco reverb to speakers through a dash switch. Motorola reverb is almost identical circuit wise so it would work in this configuration. Actually the switch is a 1x3 not a 1x2

    Motorola Reverb

You can use the volume control on the radio to vary the sound. Typically reverb goes to the rear speaker. The switch just routes the output of the radio through the reverb and over to the rear speaker. The factory switch is just a fancy spdt that looks amazing in the dash. On Delco's they don't...

    Motorola Reverb

Turbo looking at your reverb from the 4 pin connector side it connects like this: If you want to bypass the transducer (reverb spring) jumper across the top two points. I’d blow out all the dust inside and look for burnt resistors before powering it up. Also check power to ground with an ohm...

    AM/FM Radio

I find them at swap meets. Typically they have one bad output channel which affects 2 speakers. Most have either the AM or the FM inoperable or the usual low volume problem. The good news is GM made a lot of them and there are still plenty of parts available to get one going again. Once...

    AM/FM Radio

Okay sounds good. Can I ask what this is going into? I'm not sure you need the transformer it's likely just used of coupling anyway. The 67 and up don't use it. With that you could just use a 3 way switch to turn on and off the reverb and front speaker. I'll see what I can come up with once I...

    AM/FM Radio

Upon further examination that’s a Motorola reverb. I don’t have a schematic for it. I’d need to get a closer look at the inside of the unit to figure out power, input and output. Yes these units typically had a 3 position switch on the dash that switched between front speaker reverb to rear...

    AM/FM Radio

Yes that’s the multiplexer. I’ll see if I have anything that explains your reverb connections

    AM/FM Radio

This looks like a delco reverb. There should be a 3 pin plug on one end. Signal input is the top pin, audio out is the middle, and 12 volts is on the bottom. Let me know if you need any help. Signal in comes from your radio and signal out goes to your speaker

Connect phone to factory AM radio

I add Bluetooth capabilities to square body delco 2700 radios. AM or AMFM. I use the middle preset to turn on and off the Bluetooth module inside. With this option you can play any streaming service through your factory radio. Your radio retains all of its original circuitry and looks 100...

    AM/FM Radio

Yes, I’ve fixed a lot of those. Typical issues are leaky power supply caps and bad pre amp or output stage transistors. Most were found in mid 60s early 70s passenger cars. If the spring module is broken or one or both of the springs are disconnected it’s not too likely to work again unless you...

    AM/FM Radio

I have no problem following the rules. I'm a rule follower from way back. I mostly do repairs anyway and typically people reach out to me. In the past few years I've fixed a lot of GM2700 radios which fit most square bodies and I own one so I figured I better join up and see what's happening in...

whats every body using.. looking for a new stereo head unit

By factory harness are you referring to the 3 plug set that plug into the back of the radio? If so I have a set and I have the radio too in perfect working condition with bluetooth. Jim 4802351964 call or text

    Radio question

That is a Delco ETR radio. Electronically tuned radio. The segment driver for the displays often fail and you lose part or all of the display. I can fix these but it takes a little longer due to parts availability. Nice radio when it's tuned up correctly.

whats every body using.. looking for a new stereo head unit

Keep it stock. Send your radio to me and I''ll fix it and add one button bluetooth. The Delco 2700 is a fine radio with plenty of power and it fits like a glove and drives 4 speakers. Still plenty of parts available to keep them running for years. I have 5 good ones in stock right now. Call or...
