Filling a k10 wheel well, best wheel to tire ratio

We've done it on both our Jeeps. I like it, the wife likes it, screw everybody else :)

Jeep BFG KO2s on a Square Body?

We have a Jeep JLURe. It's the 4 door Rubicon and they come standard with 275/70/18s. People apparently have so much money they'll order a Rubicon, but get the lift and tires put on by the dealership, so they have an abundance of them, usually. I also know that about twice a year our local CDJR...

What new tools have you got lately?

Had to change out all 4 leaf packs on the TT two weeks ago. Burnt up my Craftsman/BD matrix drill. Scored a 18v Milwaukee impact driver, 2.0 battery, and 12v/18v charger for $100, then a corded Kobalt 1/2" impact gun for $20 from Pawn 1. Super clean, bright chain of shops around here.

Looking at a 1984 and have questions

I want to pick everyone's brain. So, got a chance to look at what I'm calling Lil Red last night. I want to buy it. My wife not so much. Especially if I get it for $2500 or less. He needed to pour fuel directly into the carb, but once it was running, it ran just fine. I didn't feel anything...

I didn't know about em either. I'm going to look at it after work. It'll probably be a 292. On other forums people have just seen the "2xx" and looked down on it, til others have pointed out how close in displacement it is to a 302 or 304. Supposedly a good engine, we'll see. Seller says it's...

Found it. Intel or opinions on the I6? I know about the Jeep 4.0 I6, and a little about the Cummins of course, but zero knowledge about the GM I6.

Update on the red '79, the owner said the interior was "rough", that hoses and etc needed to be replaced. He said it wasn't road ready. Continuing the search for a decent, surface rust acceptable 4x4 within like 5 hours drive time from Boise lol

    HELP!!!!

Just got done reading this whole thread. @NastyRay super stoked for you. We might be getting my son his first pickup with a 454, so I was invested in your progress. You can upload a video to YT, then allow only those with the link to view it for security/ privacy concerns. You could put the...

I'm asking for more pics now and let him know where I'm at to justify. It's more like 4.5 hours. It's a ways. But it just seems different when it's in state. We've done that drive a bunch in our younger days. The wife went to Idaho State.

    Rear brake shudder

Yeah I'm curious if it's a leaf spring issue. When under load it doesn't do it... so I'm wondering if a spring bushing is bad. When the rear brakes, the one side comes forward, throwing everything out of alignment in the rear and causing hop. I would think the bushing would have to be pretty bad...

One can tell he's slowly replacing the body. Bed is done, rear doors are done. He says hood and front fenders are rusty. I wonder about the cab, floors, and frame... He's said the gauges all work, so that'd be a plus.
