Chain should not go around a beam it creates a weak link but may be ok with the weight of bed.
Beam clamp (or trolley) with a shackle is the correct way...

There may be cheaper alternatives but Cloyes works good.
They were 316 stainless from one of the bolt houses. Only one available at the time were 6" length and could cut an inch if needed.
The oem bolts rusted badly in the middle, I doubt they were adequate.
F593C is 316 stainless.
This is the 5" oem bolt.
Maybe they changed over the counter when I bought mine from Chevy parts counter cause they were green in gm package.
I have some somewhere.
I found some extra 1991 Suburban Blazer adjusters.
The original screws were black and I just swapped them out.
I bought some from Chevy dealership few years back and they were green.
The aftermarket white ones kept breaking and I think they are plastic whereas GM are nylon.
Duel tank setup then? I am not familiar with those and never had one but yes those rubber lines and ethanol don't mix well.
The fuel injection hoses would be better I assume.
I agree in bumping up the pressure. What filter, regulator and fuel pump?
Have you replaced the rubber lines in the rear from tank to hard lines.
Picture of fuel line going to carb?
