Learned something new about TBI idle adjustment
I put a Holley TBI on my '87 with 350. Couldn't get the idle to cooperate. Looked everywhere for how to set it. The Holley TBI has an open idle adjustment screw, but just turning it, wouldn't keep the idle steady and wouldn't raise the idle when cold or a/c was on. The stock TBI adjustment...- Doubld

Opinions on gear ratio?
I have an '87 Silverado. Unless you have had the 700R4 modified, you don't want to tow in overdrive. Stock, there is no fluid sent through the radiator to cool it. I found that out the hard way towing a U-Haul trailer on a 103 degree day. Blew the front seal out of the tranny, had to...- Doubld
