Need advice on exhaust.
I have a 1978 1 ton with 4:10 gears that currently has a 350 with short tube headers, but hopefully soon we'll have a small block 400 and i'm going to put a rv cam in it and I'm looking to get advice on some exhaust that is fairly cheap, but I want that classic V8 rumble sound but not something...- derekhisle

Mine didn't lock up at all but instead went to the floor with no stopping then slowly came back up ..even tried pumping them to build pressure with no success- derekhisle

I have a 1978 k30 with hydroboost and yesterday I went from having breaks to nothing then they came back and now back to nothing.. the power steering still works and you can see fluid move with thr cap off the reservoir and pushing the pedal..multiple shops have said i need a new master but will...- derekhisle

Transmission is good as I thought that might be an issue as well. I ended up changing the fluid and filters on it. Spark plugs are brand new And I put new vacuum plugs on thinking that might be an issue as well, but I have not checked the base plate with carb cleaner- derekhisle

I've had the truck up to about 70 before I felt like it was unsafe for the motor check out but once again that is subjective and I do not have a tac and very loud exhaust, so it's hard to truly listen and generally, I would say it takes approximately an eighth of a mile to get up to 60..
