AM i CRAZY! So little tools so much money

The titanium composite IR is the one to have. The older IRs with the heavy aluminum case were near bulletproof, but they were heavy. The other thing I like about IR is that you can grease the hammer, where the snap-on is a sealed unit. Other than that, the IR also has a much better trigger...

Post your toys, square or not

new pride and joy... 2012 charger. Went with the V6 for the whole 31 mpg thing, and I dont need hemi power to cruise down the interstate. Gotta say, its a great car, one of the best cheap new cars out there.

Wow. Clean truck man. I'd love to have a black truck again, but living down a dirt road, its impossible to keep clean.

    New Mexican redneck here

Same here, The tan 77 chevy and the white 82 (not pictured) are the only ones left that are actually drivers. I still have the black blazer, but its a long ways to finish it, and the blue 79 K20, I still havent got the title for. Need to start a build thread on both the drivers, but I never...

Welcome my fellow new mexican, lol. I'll look in the boneyard at my house this weekend and see what I can come up with. I dont know if I've got any laying around, but if I do, you can have it. Not sure if you ever come out this way.

Man, if you got all that for 2 grand, you did pretty darn well. I've got a 53" snap-on roll chest, and probably a 36" roll cart, filled with mac, snap-on, matco, craftsman, pittsburg, KD, you name it. Have over 20K in name brand stuff, and I'm still finding myself needing specialty tools. I...

different diesel swap like CAT or Detroit

Most of the 2-strokes have a emergency kill cable that goes to the supercharger. Flops down a door doing the same thing, just starves it for air. Again, it can suck the seals outta the blower, cause the motor is going to try to pull air any way it can.

different diesel swap like CAT or Detroit

Your other problem with a detroit 2 stroke is that they make no power on the bottom end. If you drop em under about 1200 rpm under a load, you have a good chance of sucking the seals outta the blower as well. We have a old international dump truck at the mine with a 6-53, and a huber road...

Thanks. I've had probably over 30 square bodies, just never took pictures of most of em. Still got about 8 in total if you count in all the parts trucks. No good body or interior parts, but I've got tons of spare motors, trannys, axles, etc. Probably five sets of matching axle sets...

    Newbie with questions..

You may try looking into a 2004R as well. It was the older early 80s overdrive automatic. They wont hold a ton of power, but it will hold 250 horse very reliably. Also may think on checking what rear gear you have in it. We have a old 250 I6 truck up at the mine I work at, and the motor...

    New Mexican redneck here

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. I'll throw up some pictures of some of my old trucks, and I think I have a few of the 77 when I first got it. The 82 was owned by a girl who decided to paint the headache rack and a lot of other stuff with latex house paint......pink latex house paint at...

Howdy all. Stumbled across this site looking for info for my build, and figured I'd join up. Got a couple projects in the works, mainly a 77 C10 and a 82 K10. The C10 is getting a vortec top end next weekend, and air conditioning fixed after the holidays, and the K10 is just being built...
