smog equip. any value/interest ?

1978 K10 auto to 4 spd manual swap
Under that insulation is a cover which unbolts. Instead of cutting a hole, try to find the correct cover somewhere online.- Cdncarnut

Truck runs very very rough
I do not think that it is the fuel filter as that will just cause it to stall. It sounds like it is not running on all cylinders. Bad plug, bad ignition wire, bad distributor cap, EGR valve stuck open, possibly even a defective distributor module.- Cdncarnut

Back window issues
The left hand latch has a safety switch which prevents the window from being rolled up without the tailgate being closed. That applies to the dash switch and the key. As for the window not going down with the key, I have never come across that. However start with the left hand latch. I think...- Cdncarnut

Wanting to add factory power locks
I bought a used set of doors with power windows and locks along with all the switches and wiring to the under dash harness. I then went to the wreckers and found the under dash harness, which I pulled myself. I was lucky enough to find a cruise control unit in the same truck... All bolts...- Cdncarnut

The crossover is the rectangle above the stereo connector. The stereo connector, which plugs into the back of the radio/stereo is actually 3 plugs, one for power, one for the front speakers and one for the rear speakers. Sorry, but the Pioneer is going on for repair. The circuits are just old. It is a KE-5000 and I bought it in '82 when the cassette part on my KP-8005 packed it on our our return trip from BC... That made for some quiet miles through northern Ontario. :)- Cdncarnut

Brakes locking up
I have had the brake hoses rust shut and not release pressure. This happened on the disc brakes on a '69 Camaro and the rear hose on my '80 Blazer. It was challenging to diagnose but, once I replaced the hoses, everything worked perfectly. -
Stock Bolt In Exhaust
Does anyone know of a manufacturer who still makes a stock bolt in exhaust for an '80 K5 4WD Blazer? I can find 2WD versions from Hooker and other companies and there are plenty of companies who make exhausts for headers back.
