Didn't realize I hadn't updated this since June lol. I bought a new 65 series Platinum AGM battery at work, a starter switch that was momentary, and a rotor for the burb, for less than that the battery cost without discount. Lowering a 4x4??? I don't get it!!!
The Low Profile tires have only a spot on cars or a sport truck like the 454SS, they're more designed for better traction on asphalt, most are used on Rallye cars or Drift cars, hence why they are wide and very little sidewall. No place on a 4x4 though.- Caspian

Yeah, Chevy was the one that put the distributor in that f&^% up place lol... all the way at the back, under the cowl, where you can't even do a cap and rotor change easily lol. I do love my squares just as much as I love my 73-79 and 80-86 Fords.- Caspian

Yup, back to the hand warmer lol I got the PS Pump bolted back on today, lines attached, new fuel hose and clamps. I still have a little more to do before I can try and crank it. I need to pick up new belts, coolant, and restab my distributor.- Caspian

Nope, it'll go in gear but probably not too far, gotta remember the AOD is like the 700R4 in that it uses a TV Cable, or in Ford's case with the carb engines, a TV Rod, to control shifting, and last time the trans neutraled out on me 4 times in 2 blocks. I gotta swap my C6 in it before I can...- Caspian

I got a bit more done on this yesterday. Replaced the broken PS Pump reservoir using a Dorman kit that was about half the price of a rebuilt pump. So that's just about the last thing besides belts and piddly **** I need to do to it, once I get the pump back on the engine I'll start re-installing...- Caspian

No tailgate lol :p You should build a roller cam 302 engine with a stock HO Mustang cam, and do the 4 degree advance my buddy and I do to them, really awakens the 302 and makes it more of a truck engine!- Caspian
