    Whilst bleeding my brakes, I left the lid off and brake fluid went everywhere. Sure. Fine. Whatever. I cleaned it up. Couple days later I found this: Why?? Should I tape and paint??

    Went with the cheapest options from EBay for MC and BB. Rod coming from the booster was short, and previous truck owner had welded a different through pin on the brake bar. I engineered what I needed with an eye bolt, nylon washer, and coupler. Should work great. Gunna bleed the MC, run hard...

    Couple photos of before and after I took the master cylinder off. Thought I could just put a new one from O’Reilly on, but flanges too think and rod is too long. Realized it had a brake booster in it from the factory and wanna restore it to factory things or better.

    GVW rating i found to be 5001-6000 and I'm not sure what size the rotors are. I'll have to measure them next time I have the wheels off. Curious why do you ask? I'm trying to understand the physics of it all?

    I think imma be selective, not planning to remove, get some down to kill the noise, then when ready, I can repair whatever needed and finish the job. Also, if I wanna remove the cab, I can tape the floor off. Nbd.
