Hmm.. I tend to get pulled over a lot for some reason. The 6.2 did get good mileage. I could probably sell that 292 and use the money to fix and upgrade the 6.2. It just happened last week and I miss my truck already- Brently

6.2 diesel or 292 inline 6?
I have an 83 C10 with the 6.2 in it, had a leaking injector and it caught on fire. It melted a good amount of the wiring among other things. I have a 292 crate motor with all the parts to build it up. My question is should I fix what was in there and stick to the 6.2 or just pull it and go with...- Brently
