Old school Pioneer head unit, should I or should I not???
I remember late 90's, having a Kenwood casette player that had auto fast forward and reverse to advance to next track, or go back to the beginning of a song. Rocker tip alignment big block
I had the same thing after my rebuild. I ended up using adjustable 3/8" guide plates to keep them centered. I think they're AFR brand. I'm assuming your Manley plates are non adjustable? I would try to get them to run on center through the entire stroke. I'm running 1.8:1,1.7:1 Harland Sharp...- Beast496

Best tires
Maxxis RZR AT's are a pretty good tire. I'm running 35x12.50r17"s and love em for all around snow, street and desert trails.- Beast496

1986 Automatic Transmission Leak
Heres another guess as to what that "rivet" could be from. Possibly somebody in the past used it for their valve body mod, plugging the hole in the 1-2 bore of the valve body, like most shift kits say to do to hold 1st gear at any RPM. Just a guess based on the size.- Beast496

BBC 396 wil not idle with any carb
They are the slits in the butterfly valve bores, visible from below, they should make a square as a baseline for tuning. Atleast, thats the way i was taught.- Beast496

Who needs their TH400 rebuilt in Northern Nevada?
Especially true with the TH400, considering it doesn't use a bunch of electronics to get the job done. Just good hydraulics and the right combination of quality parts.- Beast496

fuel gauge reading
Thank you all for the help. To update, my truck was down for a couple months while I had the transmission out to rebuild it. I finally got it all put back together and went to fill up the truck and now the gauge doesn't come off of empty, lol. So, I'm now 100% positive it's the gauge/resistor...- Beast496
