is the "Frostbite FB167 Aluminum Radiator, 4 Row, 1973-1991 Chevy/GMC Pickup" garbage? bbc c30 getting hot with ac on

I happen to have an '87 454 mounted in a P30 chassis motorhome. Looking at the same radiator brand that you are currently using. But I'm going to replace the stock clutch fan assembly with twin electric fans. I also have an oil cooler, trans cooler, and the a/c condenser coils in front of my...

Stolen truck found after 30 years

There are smog exempt counties in Nevada and Arizona as well. And if you can get it registered and insured out of state, you are going to be paying less than California rates. Probably a LOT less. Just make sure that you keep up to date on the registration/insurance so that CHP will have less...

    Eldorado Industries G30

Welcome from AZ. Engine could be a 454/7.4L Mark IV in that. Odds are good it has a 400 series transmission. How many bolt rear axle on it will tell you a lot. And this one is the first one I've seen since I was a teenager. Looks like it's been taken care of regarding storage at least.

    Hello from Arizona

Nope, not yet. Tires and Wheels website has them though. If you're not looking for anything fancy, check out the JANTSA steel wheels. Steel, dually compatible, 8 on 6.5 in Chevy/Dodge/Ford hubs, rated at 4000-5000lbs per rim, and not a bad price. Trying to save up enough to get all 7 at once...

    Hello from Arizona

I've been doing plenty of that. But I think I might have a PDF file that explains the chassis issue. I'll post a picture from the manual that trys to give correct identification info.

    Hello from Arizona

As for pics, I can't post much. I'm actually living in it while on private property. Bit of a no-no in the county where I'm at. But at least the roof over my head is paid in full. As for parts, one thing I've been trying to find is a set of tuned long tube (31in primary) headers into a 3.5 in...

    Hello from Arizona

No, this is the original P30 chassis with the 8 on 6.5 lug pattern. The 'Workhorse' chassis came out about '88-'89 model year. They did produce the 10 lug precursor with the 178 inch frame, but mine is the 158 inch frame for this year, but most of those were in the 33-35 ft class of motorhomes...

    Hello from Arizona

First time posting to this site, but I've been lurking in the background and reading. I'm running a very unusual "square body" since it's a GMC/Chevy P30 chassis under a Fleetwood Pace Arrow Y27 motorhome. HD emissions carburetor 454(no cats) dual exhaust, currently with a 400-424 trans to a...
