Edelbrock 750 miss of the line....
Rich, I've tried all three holes for the pump, with no improvement. I just came back from checking the float height, 7/16, and they were off a bit but not by much. Also, tried both ports for my timing advance, again with no difference. Maybe that's the problem, i'm thinking I should've noticed...- allwheelz

Edelbrock 750 miss of the line....
Anyone else experience this....its a brand new carb, from 1/4 to 1/2, 1/2 to wot the truck just comes to life, but from an idle it is just performing poorly. It might be too much carb for the engine, but I think it should be better then what it is. 350 block, .040 over, which makes it a 357...- allwheelz

Thank you!!! This will be my second squarebody build, first one being a 2wd shortbox, I replaced inner and outer rockers, lower door skins, cab corners, and replaced the v6 with a 350. I'll have to transfer pics of that one....wiped out the drivers side about a year after the build, and couldn't...- allwheelz

Lets see your lifted trucks
85 k20....she measured out 7" higher with the lift springs...315/70r16 tires which look kind of small on there after the lift. Got the springs and blocks from a friend of mine, who said it was a 3 or 4" lift. Yea, he might have been off a bit....lol. Needles to say, I now have new brake hoses...- allwheelz

Greetings from Indiana, pa!!
Just wanted to say hi! Owner of a 85 longbed, 7" lift, fresh 350 sbc, backed by an sm465, swapped out the original worn out bench seat for a newer split bench. Paid 1500 for the truck from my mother in law, and have since invested about 7000 into the truck. Haven't even started on the body yet...- allwheelz
