    I have a Tuff Country 3" ez ride lift on my 81 K20 with Bilstein shocks and the ORD swaybar links. I've had tons of lifted 81-87 trucks and this is the 100% best riding one. I never thought shocks made that much of a difference but in my opinion if you would put a Tuff Country 2" ez ride...

    You need a 81-87 frame. Could use a longbed frame in a pinch and shorten it. I'd have a frame shop look at your frame before you changed it out.
