Is a gap like this normal at the corner of the windshield? This is a new seal and lock strip on an old windshield. Not sure if it leaks since the build is still in progress and it hasn't seen any weather.

Any ideas on what my options would be here? Put a sealant under the edge of the seal?

My lower lower corner did that. I shot some urethane under it and then taped it flat and let it cure.

There shouldn't be any sealer in the area around the gasket. By design, water runs under there, which is OK because is just goes around the gasket and out at the bottom. But if there is sealer in there, it obstructs the flow and can cause damage later on from dirt/debris/rust buildup.
