I lost one of the gaskets that goes under the oem roof rack on my Suburban.
The local yards were no help. Not a big deal, I can make a replacement from scrap rubber, it just ticks me off I lost the original one. So if you're at a salvage yard and happen to see one of these racks

I need one of these

It has to be from the front driver's side or rear passenger side since they are cut different from the rest.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Lots of 'Burbans in the yards here. If I see one that isn't dried out, I can grab it...But I am not headed to the yards any time in the near future. :(

Thanks Retro. I don't care how long it takes, I would just like to eventually make it right.

Edit: Not concerned about 'em being dried out, they're more like plastic than rubber so any you find should be ok.

Sure that's OEM? I know it's not original for '88 and earlier, and I'm guessing it's not original for '89 either.

Yep, pretty sure that's oem. I'm second owner and the lady i got it from wasn't the type to change anything.

Yeah, I searched there. Lots of racks for newer tucks but that's about it.

It wasn't uncommon for a dealer to add accessories even before there was a buyer for a vehicle. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just fairly positive it is an aftermarket rack. Are there any markings or numbers on the gasket?
