I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but wanted to make sure. I have a chance to get a stock set of wheels from a 1992 Chevy 3/4 ton and wanted to make sure they will fit my '85 K20. I'm thinking I am good, just making sure.

Sorry I don't have a straight answer...

Bolt pattern - should be same so long as they're 8 lug

Center bore - '92 didn't have external locking hubs and may have a significantly smaller hole in the center of the wheel.

Wheel offset - IFS trucks typically have far more positive offset which can cause clearance issues

Yep, those were my worries also. I have a co-worker that has a '93 2500 that will take some measurements for me, hopefully that will answer my question. Thanks for the reply.

My 1980 K25 and the 1997 K2500 Suburban had the exact same 14BFF rear axle in them. The 97 had the nicer removable drums, but really they were the same axle. Same width, same bolt pattern, same everything. Lots of guys running the stock GMT-400 rims/tires on their squarebodies.

The 8 lug pattern for GM trucks is the same for square body and OBS trucks, through the 2010 models.

Didn't some of the GMT400 2500's come with a 6 lug? That's the only reason I said should be same so long as they're 8 lug.

Yes there's a light duty 2500 that is 6 lug. 7200# gvw I think. The heavy duty 2500 is similar to the one tons. 8 lugs and no airbag; when these trucks were built, anything 8600#gvw and higher was not required to have them. If you see the dashboard and it has a cubby on the passenger side, and 8 lug wheels, then it is a HD2500 or 3500.
Here's a picture of the dashboard in my '97 C3500 CCLB for reference. Also, the steering wheel on these has a slightly smaller center/horn button, and doesn't have the SRS lettering on it.
