What year are dash pads the same???

Hey


I got lead on a Dash Pad that in almost perfect condition (lol little bit of a drive). Guy says it was out of a early 90's suburban, with SLE trim? Looks like mine from my 1987. Will it fit or did it change in the 90's?

81-91 should all interchange

didnt 73-78 interchange or maybe 77? then in 78 or 79 they added the opening for the VIN on the dash? that being the only difference 73-80 otherwise working?

At some point they also added cutouts for small stereo speakers.

81-91 a\ll same.

73-80 are different., more rounded shappe design than 81 up.


and Aurora is correct the '79 and '80 have vin tag cut out 'window' in the corner that 78 older dont have. 79 and 80- turcks just have alott of small misc stuff thats differen or new that 78 older didnt have. inside and out. but so did 74 75, then 75 76, then 77, then 78. then 79/80/ each year or two had changes to inside and out of trucks... so....


'77 was the year with probly the most changes. with the new power door shells and new larger door panels, and shoulder belts and last year for the old style steering wheels, and so on..
