Where I am at in MI, it probably wouldn't bring more than $2000, and that's if you find the right buyer who wants it. If you were just wanting to get rid of it, you wouldn't hardly see $1500. Sad truth.
Gotta ask your self if it's worth hanging on to for what ever you can get out of it. Honestly from what I have seen, you have a frickin big fleet of cars. I don't know how you can work on and drive ALL OF THEM! If you have cars just sitting around, why do you have them? At one time I had a Corvette, Camaro, and a Monte SS. Corvette got driven, but I was always thinking I should be driving the Monte. Then I was always thinking I should be working on getting the Camaro running. I started to go batty going in this circle, and that was with only 3 cars! Now I just have the truck and the Monte, and when I am driving the truck, I am not working on the Monte. It is not nearly as bad now, but I still have that struggle with myself. I don't know how you do it man...
Okay, I'm done. .02 given...
My big problem is that I get attached to most of my cars and trucks, and I end up assigning a certain use for each one of them. Basically a vehicle for any occasion. In reality, I could easy do without most of them. I could cut it down to 5 vehicles, and those ones all currently operate and get used. My Celebrity (for fun, show, and good mpg), '88 Burb (wife's DD, kid hauler, towing), '90 Burb (backup for the other Burb, my winter beater), '84 C10 (my driver, light hauling), and then the '79 crew cab (heavy hauling). Beyond that, the others are just taking up space, time, and money.
I have two more that run/drive and I REALLY don't want to sell. My '70 Impala and my modified '86 Camaro that I've put a lot of love into. Today I put the Camaro up for sale on TGO, it killed me to do that but I could potentially find another and build it again... at least that's what I keep telling myself. I refuse to sell my '70, I've only had it a few years but it's one of my dream cars (weird huh?) and it took years to find one how I wanted.
Then the rest of my cars and two K5's are basically just parts cars or scrap in most peoples eyes. Except the Nova, I thought it might have some value as a whole which is why I want to sell it first. Looks like it doesn't, but if I can get some money out of it, I may get to keep my beloved Camaro.
There's a few project vehicles that I wouldn't mind letting go for scrap value, but I want them to go to a good home. Most people don't see the potential in them that I do.
