Lol il tell you a short story about that. My grandpa ordered a new ford from the factory in 1989. Picked it up and started the 10 mile drive home. It shot crap about 6 miles from the house. He walked the 6 miles home, called ford and told them where they could find their piece of ****, then called dodge and ordered a new truck from them. He still owns that truck. Single cab 1 ton with a 440 with 27,000 original miles that's in his garage. Never bought anything but dodges after that. Subsequently, my dad didn't either, and neither did I until I bought this square. Still have my 2010 dodge though. It's a family thing, as it is with most guys.
