Nope. I'd try Daving the timing about 2 degrees and see what happens. Do you have a light or way of checking the timing?

No I don't I'll have wait to use my brothers. So do yo think aluminum foil around the steel fuel lines would stop them from getting to hot?

It's a cheap try, so if it fails, you've not lost much. I say try it.
