Ive seen that most chevys have a little black box on the gas pedal bracket and a plug with about 8-12 wires goin to it, and in and behind the glove box, theres a silver box kind of like an ecm, but with only 4 or 5 wires, im pretty sure its the spark module, and ive been told that theres also a small computer in the kick-panel? I know its got a cruise control module and a wiper delay box on almost every k10 pickup from 83 or 84 to 87, but im just curious what the other ones are, any help on it I would greatly appreciate

Little black box,I believe is for a warning buzzer,I may just be wrong though.

If its on the gas pedal bracket, it was usually a kickdown switch for a TH 400
Behind the glovebox is an ignition or computer controlled carb ecm up to 86, tbi ecm to 91

might be up and left of the column, or right.
