hey guys im finishing up my 1993 nv4500 swap in my c10

i had purchased a conversion joint that i was told would work (napa part #447) which i think is 1330-1350?

either way the side of the ujoint that bolts on the transmission isnt wide enough, its bolted on but it needs to be a half inch wider or more to fit correctly on the transmission.... anyone have any ideas on which one i might need? i think outside to outside on the caps i have now is 3.622" and the one i need is 4.187" with regualar 1/2 c10 caps on the other side of it of course

Perhaps the trans uses a 1410 u-joint? The are u-joint size charts posted about the internet. A Napa store should have one in a book too, but even those places are starting to do away with parts books now.

thanks for the reply. after doing a bit more research and a lot of head scratching i have come to the conclusion i have to get a driveshaft modified with a 1410 tube yoke on the transmission side, a slip joint in the middle somewheres and a 1310 tube yoke on the axle side to make this nv4500 work with my current setup. sucks but oh well
