Your '85 has a Trip? My loaded '86 doesn't have one... I don't think. Hmm.

Anyway, are you pushing the reset button and turning it too? You can't just push it and reset it.

He's running a 90-91 electric speedometer.

Yes, you have to turn it clockwise while pushing it in.

I have a 1988 speedo in the '81 with a trip.

Nope its not the nut still doesnt work, I did however just add a few miles to the odometer when turning the knob
