Stock control arms? That spring shouldn't be "falling out of the pocket". Yes, at full drop you'll be able to move the, but they shouldn't be "falling out". Trust me, just put the pigtail in it's little pocket, leave it and forget it.

As for shocks, you'll need drop shocks. I have the Belltech SP shocks for a 4-5" drop up front, PN# 2103HA.

In the rear, when I only had the flip kit and relocators, I had stock length Belltech SPs. Now that I have added the 2" shackle as well, I have drop shocks PN# 2208HF.
Maybe thats the problem. I went with factory styled shocks and on the rear, were not using that shock extension shackle as we didn't need it. could that be causing an issue? Both upper and lowers are brand new from LMC. spindles and shocks are aftermarket.

The extender is only in the rear to get the shock at the proper operating angle.

You mentioned pigtail. Do you mean shove that top of the spring into that cut out and let it be? On the rear, were not using them, so are you saying add them even though its mounting properly without issue. I don't need any crazy issues. This is the old mans truck, I'm just borrowing it on weekends, maybe during car show season, and marketing LOL!. Thanks for all the help.

There's a little dip/divot/recess in the lower control arm that the pigtail of the spring should sit in. That's what locates the spring

Also, keep in mind, that these are factory-styled shocks, just new on the front and back and no shock extender bracket on the back. Not sure if this is causing this issue but just giving all the info I have on hand in hopes of a great answer. Thanks fellas.

I did a 5/7 and the front was too low. Added 5/8" spring spacers under the front coils and they brought it up right where I needed it.

Ok, yeah you did end up a little lower than me. That will definitely hit when turning if you hit a bump. I'd either add a 1/2" or so spring spacer or roll the fender lip (or both)

You got a link to the ones you used??
Mcbay-PERFORMANCE on ebay. The aluminum ones. They are 5/8" thick and will raise your front about 1-1/2", they are advertised as for a 1-3/4" lift. Should be just what you need and easy to install.
