Tire size with 6" lift?

Have a 6" lift with 35" tires on stock rally rims. To me they look lost what is the max size with out messing with it anymore? can a 37" fit on good no issues? any pics?

You should be able to run 37s, like Goodyear Wrangler MT Hummer tires but keep in mind bigger tires are harder to balance, and harder to keep balanced, especially bias-ply tires. I have 38s and have been considering getting a set of 37" Goodyears, or a set of 36" Boggers. But for a street truck like yours the Goodyears might be a great choice.

You can just go to a wider tire to fill it out more, only trouble is that a wide 35" tire is likely going to limit you to a less streetable tire.

Or you can run a wider 15x10 wheel and it makes the tire appear to be wider.

I ran a set of 35x15.5-15's on a set of stock rally wheels. 7 inches of lift, I think they looked big enough.

ya thanks, i want to keep the truck stock looking but lifted with the rallys and like it is since it is in good shape. i have the bfg 35s now and they are all like 75-80% still new but i think if i find a set of 37s and someone to take my 35 i'd change then.

now what about stabilizer? i have a single now and was thinking going to double when i do 37s. does it make that much of a difference when driving with tighter response and handling?

and while on it, has any one done this or know the size i need or etc...with the stock rally rims the backs on these trucks are tucked in more. what size spacers so i need to give it an equal look with the front end? i think that will help alot too. i hate the way it looks from an angle you can see the difference alot. and is it safe?

The K5 pictured didn't even have a stabilizer, neither does my Burb that is driven everyday. I can't tell much difference with or without.

Rear spacers are fine if you go with a quality spacer, one that's hub-centric is best. 2 inches thick would work well to even it out.

I personally dont like spacers. The biggest that i would go would be between 1/4 and 1/2.
The farther out you space your wheel, the more strain its putting on the Wheel stud.

And as far as a stabilizer goes, i think they help with walk.

37's should fit pretty nice for you. I have 6" up front and 4.5" in the back. This is with 40's before trimming.

The RoughCountry 6" kit I'm looking at suggests 37's, and I have had good luck with their suggested size in the past.

It all depends on the application. Using a 2 inch spacer on an 8 inch wheel with 4 inches backspacing is no different than running no spacers and a 10 inch wheel with the same 4 inches on backspacing. The force is still 2 inches out from stock.

Also, a 1/2 inch spacer is a BAAAD idea because it has to be a floating spacer that is not directly bolted to the hub/flange.

It's probably to save weight for high speed blasts.

i have the stock rims now with 35s. if i space the backs it will be even? and i get what you mean by a 10" rim but if you put a 10" upfront too then you still have the 2" offset look i'd assume tight?
