Just want to make sure before i purchase.

I have a double roller timing chain on my sbc. The timing chain cover is rough looking. I already cleaned up the motor and want to install a new one.

Question: Do I need to get a timing chain cover just for the double roller chain or do all the chain covers fit? Buying the part online so I want to be certain that I get it right.

Thanks.

I've installed the Summit brand double roller before, and that fit under the factory timing cover without a problem.

For sure, what others said, double roller under stock cover works fine. Mine hasn't rubbed yet.
