Just curious on this possibility. I had a BOP th400 back in 2013 that I sold. One day fooling around cleaning up in the garage, I took one of the spare driveshafts laying around and stuck it in the th400. Keep in mind this was a 700r4 yoke. It slid in no problem. I even put it in neutral and was able to spin the driveshaft by hand. Is it possible that a 27 spline shaft can be swapped into a th400??? Before that I was told splines had to be identical from shaft to yoke.
The reason I ask is because the final mod to my suburban is in the works.
I just need to know if I can reuse the THM yoke or if I need to go hunt a 700 yoke at the scrap yard??
