Cracks in transmission by output shaft

1983 C10. I was replacing the o ring and seal in the tailshaft when I saw all the cracks in the main housing. I can't tell if fluids coming through. What do you guys think? What's it supposed to look like?

Not cracks; just normal byproduct of the casting process.
