No heads? Is the housing still on? Can you score them and use flathead? Otherwise carefully drill them out...

Probably not screwed up by PO but rather the heads are rusted off.
Originally those were phillips heads screws.
I hace used various tools and chipped/chisesled away until the head was completelu gone, then, pulled the tail light off of what was lefdt of the screws shank, got a hold of the shank with a vicegrip and unscrewed them.
Worked for me on several that I have picked out of the scrap yards.

Thats what i started to try to do was chip the last of what was left of the heads but didnt want to make a mess of it if it broke. The top 2 hold it in just fine but have a set of new housings and lenes from a buddy that I was going to put in. There isnt enough left of the heads to try much.

Ohh yea...now that you mention it, the ones holding the housing to the bed were in fact phillips head screws. The lens to housing screws were the torx. I just had one apart last Sunday, you'd think I could remember that. Lol.
